In today's class on Science and Technology, we had an opportunity to revisit the concepts of physics which we learnt during our school days insightfully and more deeply.
As Mahatriya Ra says " Clarity is strength", today's class facilitated us to understand abstract concepts with clarity.
Our class started with the definition of the term "Force". Sir explained to us the concepts of balanced and unbalanced forces which were very helpful for me to understand the three Laws of Newton and the Law of conservation of momentum in a way different from what I learnt at my school. After understanding the basic definitions and laws it was easier for me to interlink the concepts and laws.
We discussed in detail about earth's gravitational pull and the science behind launching satellites into the orbits was demystified with clarity. Sir Elaborated the fluid mechanical concepts like thrust, pressure and buoyancy in a practical way with examples which in turn helped us to understand the Archimedes principle. Finally, Sir explained the concept of Energy, its types and the methods of producing it. Today's class made me contemplate deeply about the science we come across in our everyday life.
More than helping us to crack entrance exams this kind of learning would enhance our scientific temper and help us become more logical and aware of the real-world application of science
