We had our fourth Science and Technology class today we revised few concepts that we learnt during school days. As the famous quote goes, "The physics is theoretical, but the fun is real" ,in today's class we learnt so many real-life examples making the class more exciting. The class started with the concept of "sound" in this concept first we saw the definition of sound followed by types of sound wave travel, sir explained the types of wave travel with diagrams enabling a better understanding .Then the discussion was about the speed of sound in various media. Then sir spoke about an interesting topic "Sonic boom" and its subconcepts which wasn't a familiar one for many of us. We were then taught about "echo" and reverberation and we learnt some real-life situations where both these concepts are used. We then learnt about ultrasound and infrasound and the discussion further grew to the audible range of humans and other animals. Sir gave some real-life examples where ultrasonic sound is used. Sir then spoke about "light" and the concepts in light topic like reflection, refraction, and total internal refraction. Finally, sir explained about convex and concave mirrors. Today's class dealt more with real-life examples making it more interesting.
