4.For the safety of their subjects
*POACHING:
1.Organ trade
2.Tiger skin
3.Tusk of elephant
4.Horn of deer and rhino
Bones of tigers are consumed by chinese
People for masculine nature.
*HABITAT LOSS AND FRAGMENTATION:
1.Deforestation leads to isolation and
fragmentation of forest.
EX: forest destruction in western ghats
causes habitat loss and isolates elephants.
*OVEREXPLOITATION:
1.Consumeristic nature of humans leads
to over exploitation of habitats.
2.Gandhiji’s quote on nature, “ There is
a sufficiency in the world for man’s need but not for man’s greed “.
*ALIEN INVASIVE SPECIES:
1.It is any kind of living organism that
is not native to an ecosystem and causes harm to the non native one.
2.It has no control agent but usually
all species have some control agent.
EX: african gaint snail, parthenium (
congress grass)
*COEXTINCTIONS:
1.Symbiotic relationships leads to co- extinctions.
EX: Animal and associated parasites.

*Decline in productivity: variation in prodution leads to
instability in successions.
